A design led hostel being built directly across the road from Gatsby Hotel, Early Cafe and the new La Playa Bar, so the cheapest bed on the corner still gets the best of the group.
La Playa Hostel is the volume layer of the cluster. Mixed dorms, a small number of private rooms, a pool courtyard and a common kitchen give younger long stay travellers a base they can afford for weeks rather than nights.
Hostels earn per bed, not per room, so a single room can carry six or eight paying guests a night. Occupancy does the heavy lifting, and long stay bookings smooth the low season in a way room only accommodation rarely manages.
The commercial point is what happens next door. Guests eat breakfast at Early Cafe, drink at La Playa Bar and move friends and family into Gatsby Hotel, so every bed sold keeps earning after check in. That circulation is why the La Playa Group builds a walkable cluster instead of scattered venues.
